ILOILO City – A 56-year-old man died as a result of a crash between a tricycle and a bus in Barangay Malayu-an, Ajuy, Iloilo.
Hector Articuna of Barangay Culasi, Ajuy expired while being treated for his head and body injuries at the Sara District Hospital, a police report showed.
Articuna was driving the tricycle bound for Ajuy town proper at around 11:45 a.m. Saturday when his vehicle collided head-on with the bus bound for Balasan.
The victim overtook a preceding van, failing to see the bus on the other lane running the opposite direction, stated the police report./PN
