ILOILO City – The tricycle he was driving crashed against a truck on Palmares Street in Passi City, Iloilo.
The 23-year-old Arnold Patino of Barangay Gines Viejo, Passi City died of head injuries, a police report showed.
He died at the Passi City Hospital while undergoing treatment.
The 58-year-old truck driver Celso Jomires, meanwhile, was detained in the lockup facility of the Passi City police station.
The truck and the tricycle were running toward opposite directions when the crash happened on April 8, police said.
