BACOLOD City – A tricycle driver was killed and two others were injured in a road crash in Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Resident Michael Quiatchon died of head injuries, a police report showed.
His passengers 21-year-old Charize Cobrado and 21-year-old Michelle Andrade also sustained injuries on the body, it added. They already received medical treatment at the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City.
The 10-wheeler truck driven by Jolito Duterte and the tricycle were running toward opposite directions when the crash happened on Monday, police said.
Duterte was detained in the lockup cell of the Silay City police station, facing charges./PN
