BACOLOD City – The tricycle he was driving crashed against a prime mover truck in Barangay Tortosa, Manapla, Negros Occidental.
The 64-year-old Amado Batadhay of Barangay 6, Victorias City, Negros Occidental died of head and body injuries, a police report showed. His passenger, Reneboy Chico, 29, survived the crash.
According to police investigation, the truck driven 36-year-old Rolando Hermanos overtook Batadhay’s tricycle and rammed into the vehicle around 6:10 on Wednesday.
Hermanos, who escaped injury, turned himself in to the municipal police station and signified an amicable settlement with the victims’ family./PN
