ILOILO City – A 50-year-old man was arrested in a house raid in Barangay Guimticgan, Carles, Iloilo.
Armed with a search warrant, the Carles police raided the house of tricycle driver Jenne Villaco in the afternoon of Dec. 8, a police report showed.
Recovered from the house was a .38-caliber revolver with six ammunitions, the report added.
Policemen confiscated the weapon after Villaco failed to present a license.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
