BACOLOD City – A tricycle driver was fatally shot by two motorcycle-riding gunmen early morning yesterday in Barangay Pahanocoy.
The 54-year-old Noel Peraren bore multiple gunshot wounds. He died on the spot, a police report showed.
Initial investigation of Police Station 8 showed the two assassins tailed the tricycle driver on the Circumferential Road before the latter was peppered with bullets.
Police investigators said the victim was a probationer. He was convicted by the court for the crime of illegal possession of firearm sometime in November 2016.
As of this writing, the gunmen remained unidentified. Investigation was ongoing./PN
