ILOILO City – A tricycle crashed against a van in Barangay Poblacion, Estancia, Iloilo. A man was killed while another was injured.
Resident Jose Hogo died while being treated at the Malbog District Hospital in Balasan, Iloilo.
Survivor Rogelio Tampus was recuperating in the said hospital.
The vehicular accident happened at around 10:30 p.m., according to the Estancia police.
The two were in the tricycle driven by Hogo. The cargo van, on the other hand, was driven by Raffy June Aguilar, 28, of Barangay Cabugao Viejo, San Enrique, Iloilo.
Police reports revealed the tricycle made a counterflow but it was hit by the van.
The van driver turned himself in to the San Enrique police station. He may face charges for reckless imprudence resulting to homicide and frustrated homicide./PN
