ILOILO City – In Barangay Jalandoni Estate, Lapuz district, a trisikad driver had been arrested for drug sale and possession.
The 31-year-old Reymond Delos Reyes had been detained at the La Paz police station.
A police report stated that the pedicab driver sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer for P1,100.
Seven sachets of the same substance were recovered from the left pocket of his pants during a search.
Charges for violation of sections 5 (selling) and 11 (possession) of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 may be filed against Delos Reyes.
