ILOILO City – In what seemed like a peaceful slumber, a man was found lifeless on his own trisikad along De Leon Street in Iloilo City Proper district on Wednesday morning, March 27.
Jobie Lausa is temporarily staying in Barangay Nonoy, Iloilo City Proper, but his family is known to reside in Negros Occidental.
He was supposed to be awakened around 6 a.m. but did not respond, and his body was already exhibiting rigor mortis.
Investigations revealed no signs of foul play in Lausa’s demise, according to Police Captain Roque Gimeno III, attributing it to the victim’s heavy drinking.
Lausa was known to frequently indulge in alcohol and was spotted last night drinking with his friends, Gimeno added.
Furthermore, Lausa reportedly does not have a house and often sleeps in his trisikad./PN
