MANILA – Free agent forward Jeth Troy Rosario is signing with Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings ahead of the start of the 2024-25 Commissioner’s Cup later this month.
According to a report by Fastbreak website, the former National University Bulldogs forward is now finalizing the length of his contract with the Gin Kings.
Prior to his decision to join the Gin Kings, the 6-foot-7 Rosario has received offers from Blackwater Bossing, TNT Tropang Giga, Converge FiberXers, and teams from Japan B.League and Korea Basketball League.
The 32-year-old Rosario is a welcome addition for the Gin Kings’ frontline, which is decimated with the departure of Christian Standhardinger and injuries to Jamie Malonzo, George Isaac Go, and Jeremiah Gray.
Rosario said in a previous interview that he was flattered with the Gin Kings fans already welcoming him even if he has yet to sign with the team.
Rosario also said that among the things he is considering before signing a contract is its longevity and the team’s potential to make the PBA playoffs.
