ILOILO City – An employee of a truck company on 6th Street, Lawa-an Village, Barangay Balantang, Jaro district was found dead inside a van.
The body of the 36-year-old Francisco Canoy was discovered by a fellow Power Truckhaus worker around 1 p.m. on May 29.
Police found no injuries on Canoy. They were still investigating what exactly caused his death.
All they knew so far was that he was suffering from cough prior to his death, a police report showed.
The 49-year-old truck company secretary Homelyn Jimena called the police and reported that she found Canoy’s body lying inside the closed van parked within the Power Truckhaus premises.
The van was filled with several cans and gallons of paint./PN
