ILOILO City – A truck fell into a canal along the highway in Barangay Cagamutan Norte, Leganes, Iloilo.
The accident happened while driver Pocholo Biong was trying to avoid a portion of the road undergoing repair, a police report showed.
A 50-year-old resident of Barangay Bato, Roxas City, Biong was unhurt.
Police said the accident happened at 5:25 a.m. on Wednesday.
The front portion of the truck was damaged, police said./PN
