ILOILO City – An 82-year-old woman died in a vehicular accident in Barangay Agtambo, Passi City, Iloilo on Thursday.
Angelica Laruya, a resident of the village, was crossing the road around 6:30 p.m. when hit by a truck, according to the police.
The driver, Roland Peromingan, 24, of Barangay Paraiso, Sagay, Negros Occidental was detained at the Passi City police station.
He would be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide, police said./PN
