ILOILO City – Police officers impounded a truck loaded with assorted logs yesterday in Barangay Baybay, San Joaquin, Iloilo.
Personnel from the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office were also present in the operation that happened around 6 a.m. in a checkpoint.
A total of 92 logs were found in the truck driven by Isidro Santolius, a resident of San Joaquin.
Santolius failed to present the necessary permits for carrying the logs./PN
