ILOILO City – In Barangay Tagpuan, Tubungan, Iloilo a 50-year-old man was hacked to death.

Joseph Tagamtam died on Tuesday night. Police identified a suspect – Barangay Tagpuan councilman Marcelo Taton.

Taton fled after the hacking around 6:40 p.m.

Police said Tagamtam and Taton had an argument during a drinking binge.

A bolo was used on Tagamtam.

As of this writing, Taton remained at large./PN
