AKLAN – Two motorcycle drivers lost their lives in a collision around 12:20 a.m. on Sunday, April 28, in Barangay Man-up, Altavas town.
They were identified as Ron Saneo, a resident of Sapian, Capiz, and 20-year-old Sandro Tarosanan of Batan town.
According to the initial investigation of the Altavas Municipal Police Station, the two were on their way to Altavas town proper when Saneo’s motorcycle allegedly swerved into Tarosanan’s lane, which caused the collision.
Both drivers were rushed to the Altavas District Hospital but Tarosanan was declared dead on arrival, police said.
Saneo, on the other hand, later succumbed to his injuries while being treated.
As of this writing, Altavas police’s investigation was ongoing to determine the cause of the accident./PN
