BACOLOD City – Two drug suspects were arrested at a police checkpoint in Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Police identified them as 20-year-old Dywne Dumancas of Purok Malunggay, Barangay Zone 5, Murcia and 22-year-old Mike Dems Mangaser of Barangay Zone 4, Murcia.
Dumancas and Mangaser were caught around 4:10 p.m. on Thursday, a police report showed.
When frisked, three sachets of suspected shabu and two cellphones were seized from the suspects, police said.
The police also impounded their motorcycle.
Dumancas and Mangaser were detained in the lockup cell of the Murcia police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
