ILOILO – Anti-illegal drug operatives of the Pavia Municipal Police Station and Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) arrested two drug suspects in a joint buy-bust operation in Barangay Balabag, Pavia town on Friday, July 5.
Aliases “Tuting,” classified as a high-value target, and “Marites,” tagged as a street-level suspect, were both residents of the said place.
Police confiscated a total of 110 grams of suspected shabu approximately valued at P748,000.
The suspects were detained at the Pavia police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“This successful operation further highlights our commitment to eradicating illegal drugs. We ask the public to stay vigilant and report suspicious activities,” said Colonel Bayani M. Razalan, the officer-in-charge of the IPPO./PN
