ILOILO – A 19-year-old motorcyclist and a minor bicycle rider were injured when they figured in a road accident in Sitio Sapa, Barangay Balantad C Fruto, Guimbal town on Sunday evening, July 28.
Aliases “Jun” and “Ed” both sustained minor injuries and were brought to a hospital. They were later released after receiving medical treatment.
Guimbal police said Jun’s motorcycle swerved toward the roadside when another vehicle attempted to overtake him, and he accidentally collided with the minor’s bicycle.
Both riders later reached an agreement to settle the incident, police added./PN
