CAPIZ – The drivers of two motorcycles suffered injuries after colliding against each other in Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Dumarao yesterday, Oct. 25.
The drivers were identified as John Robert Guzman, a 35-year-old resident of the said town, and Felipe Salazar, a 67-year-old resident of Passi City, Iloilo, who had his wife as a passenger.
According to information gathered by responding members of the Bureau of Fire Protection, Guzman was heading to Roxas City while Salazar was on his way to Passi City.
Salazar’s motorcycle allegedly made a sudden turn, leading to a collision with Guzman’s vehicle.
Fortunately, Salazar’s wife did not sustain any injuries.
The injured individuals were promptly brought to the nearest healthcare facility for medical attention.
Authorities reminded motorists to exercise caution and adhere to traffic rules and regulations./PN
