Two men fall in Murcia drug sting

BACOLOD City – Police nabbed two drug suspects in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental.

Lieutenant John Paul Tabujara, municipal police chief, identified the suspects as Robert Arriola, 23, of Reagent Pearl Homes in this city and Angelo Flores, 19, of Barangay Salvacion, Murcia.  

An undercover officer initially bought from Arriola and Flores a sachet of suspected shabu for P200.

One more sachet of the prohibited substance was seized during their arrest around 11:45 on Dec. 24, Tabujara said.

Policemen also impounded two motorcycles of the suspects.

Detained in the Murcia municipal police station, Arriola and Flores face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
