ANTIQUE – Two of the most wanted persons in Western Visayas were arrested in this province.
Police caught the region’s No. 6 most wanted, alias “Jefvic,” 24, and a resident of Barangay Semirara, Caluya on August 9 in the town’s Barangay Alegria.
He was charged with two counts of rape.
The following day, August 10, alias “Antonio, 69, and the region’s No. 8 fugitive, was apprehended for a murder case in Barangay Alojipan, Culasi.
Both suspects arrest warrants were issued by Judge Josefina Fulo Muego of the Regional Trial Court, 6th Judicial Region – Branch 13 in Culasi town.
The suspects are currently in the custody of the police pending turnover to the court of origin.
The court recommended no bail bond for their temporary freedom./PN
