BACOLOD City – Two drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Looney 1, Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental around 12:35 p.m. yesterday, June 21.
The 32-year-old Gerardo Gelisanga was a resident of Barangay Pahanocoy, Bacolod City, and 22-year-old Rubilyn Suplico was from Purok Santan, Barangay Zone 2, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Eight sachets of suspected shabu were recovered, including the buy-bust item, with a combined weight of seven grams valued at P47,600, according to the Silay City Police Station.
The two suspects are currently in the custody of Silay City police and are facing illegal drug charges./PN
