ILOILO — Approximately 73 grams of suspected shabu worth P496,400 were recovered from two suspects tagged as high-value individuals in an anti-illegal drugs operation at around 8:46 p.m. on September 18 in Barangay Purok 4, Pavia town.
Operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Team of Pavia Municipal Police Station (MPS) identified the arrested as aliases “Arnold,” 56, married, and “Joeann,” 46, both residents of the Pavia.
Seized from their possession were five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, 15 plastic sachets with alleged shabu residue, buy-bust money, and non-drug-related items.
Police said Joeann was previously arrested for illegal drug case.
As of this writing, both suspects were detained at the Pavia MPS and will be charged for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
