ILOILO – Anti-narcotics operatives of the Pototan Municipal Police Station arrested two individuals and confiscated approximately P782,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation early yesterday morning in Barangay Cato-ogan, Pototan town.
The suspects were identified as Nemer “Makoy” Arroyo, 29, and Joelycis “Brom-Brom” Tolentino, 33, both residents of the said village.
Police added that Tolentino was classified as a high-value suspect while Arroyo was listed as a street-level target.
The suspects were caught at around 2:56 a.m. after one of them sold a plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer. Police recovered a total of 115 grams of suspected shabu.
The suspects are now in police custody and charges are being prepared in accordacend with Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
