ILOILO City – Two women theft suspects were separately arrested in the City Proper.
Angel Grace Pineda of Zone 1-B, Barangay San Juan, Molo was placed behind bars at Police Station 1. She did not pay for the seven Kitkat chocolates she took from the display rack of Robinsons Place Iloilo’s supermarket section.
Mall security guard Ellen Jane Martinez caught Pineda around 4:40 p.m. on Sept. 22 with the seven chocolates. Each cost P46.75.
The other theft suspect was 27-year-old Ma. Morena Masula of Barangay Sta. Rita, Oton, Iloilo. She tried to leave Gaisano department store on Guanco Street without paying for the following items:
* two bottles of Dove hair shampoo worth P198.50 each
* a bottle of Head & Shoulders shampoo worth P209
* another bottle of Head & Shoulders shampoo worth P253, and
* two bottles of Palmolive shampoo worth P180.50 each.
Security guard Garry Daniel recovered the items from Masula’s shoulder bag.
Masula was taken to Police Station 1./PN
