BACOLOD City – Two persons were shot in Barangay Bantayanon, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
Residents Nestor Jabaybay, 58, and Rodrigo Villadar, 44, sustained gunshot wounds on the body, a police report showed.
Tagged suspect was 30-year-old resident Junjun Entapan, it added.
According to police investigators, Jabaybay and Villadar were having a birthday drinking spree at the house of the former when Entapan fired at the victims using a .45-caliber pistol around 8:30 p.m. on June 3.
The motive in the incident however was not immediately established.
The victims were rushed to the San Carlos City Hospital for medical treatment.
Officers of the Calatrava municipal police station conducted a manhunt operation against the suspect, who fled after the incident./PN
