ILOILO City – A rumble between two groups of young men left two wounded on Saturday night in Barangay Laguda, La Paz district.

Jay-R Perez, 21, was taken to the West Visayas State University Medical Center while Louie John Soliva, 19, was treated at St. Paul’s Hospital Iloilo. Both had stab wounds.

Perez was from Barangay Laguda while Soliva was from Barangay Legaspi Dela Rama, City Proper. Both belonged to the same group.

Around 11 p.m. while the two and their group was binge drinking at a refreshment parlor, a rival group of about 30 members arrived and commotion ensued./PN
