UNegA prepares for PCL-NegOcc elections

BACOLOD City – The United Negros Alliance (UNegA) will meet to discuss the Philippine Councilors League – Negros Occidental chapter elections.

Cadiz City’s Mayor Salvador Escalante, executive secretary of UNegA, said the meeting will be held in the middle of July.

Aside from the PCL elections, Escalante said, their party will also discuss the elections for the Association of Chief Executives (ACE) Negros Occidental and League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP).

UNegA, as usual, will invite Gov.Eugenio Jose Lacson and representatives of Love Negros.

Currently, the PCL is represented in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan by ex-officio member Ryan Gamboa, a councilor of Silay City.

Former Victorias City mayor Frederick Palanca is th president of ACE while Valladolid mayor Enrique Miravalles heads the LMP – Negros Occidental./PN
