ILOILO City – In Barangay Tanza Norte, Panay, Capiz an unidentified gunman shot a young man.
Christian Paul Barredo of Barangay Linateran, Panay was taken to the Roxas Memorial District Hospital for a gunshot wound on the right leg.
The shooting happened around 9:20 p.m. on May 21. Barredo was walking.
From what the police gathered from witnesses, Barredo tried to wrestle the gun from the gunman and it was during their grappling that the gun went off.
The gunman fled, leaving behind his a .38 revolver and the wounded Barredo.
As of this writing, the gunman remained unidentified./PN
