ILOILO City – Uniwheels Cards Display clinched the overall championship of the JB Amateur Basketball League Elite over at the Powerhouse Sports Hub here.
Ruling the Elite 1 division last week, it captured the crown by defeating Elite 2 champions On D’ Move Sportswear, 102-94.
Pusoy Arenal was hailed as Most Valuable Player and named, too, as part of the Mythical Five with teammate Elmer Belostrino.
Others who were named in the mythical selection were Jayjay Guanzon of the OJNA crocodiles, Inno Miclat of ODM, and Ralph Bajon of the Asialink.
The Uniwheels bagged the Elite 1 championship after sweeping the Asialink/E&C Trucking in their best-of-three titular showdown.
On D’ Move Sportswear, on the other hand, ruled the Elite 2 Division after defeating the OJNA/IYB Mobile Bar Crocodiles in the finals, 89-77./PN
