ILOILO City – A drunken man was arrested for possessing an unlicensed firearm inside a KTV bar in Barangay San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras.
The 23-year-old Dan Angelo Navanes of Barangay San Isidro, Buenavista, Guimaras was caught around 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday, a police report showed.
A .38-caliber revolver loaded with several live bullets was recovered from him, police said.
According to the police, Rodalyn Tamonan, manager of Hapit Any KTV bar, reported Navanes to the police after some of her customers left for fear when they saw the suspect carrying a gun.
Responding police officers were able to disarm and arrest Navanes.
He was detained in the lockup facility of the Jordan municipal police station, facing charges./PN
