ILOILO City – For possessing an unlicensed firearm, a 39-year-old man was caught in Barangay Pali-Benedicto, Mandurriao district.
Seized from Joel Paniqui of Barangay San Nicholas, Oton, Iloilo was a .45-caliber pistol with live bullets, a police report showed.
Paniqui was nabbed after he failed to show the license of the gun.
Prior to his arrest, police spotted Paniqui with a firearm tucked in his pants around 1 a.m. on Monday.
Paniqui was detained in the lockup cell of the Mandurriao police station, facing charges./PN
