ILOILO City – A village watchman was arrested for possessing an unlicensed firearm in Barangay San Rafael, Tigbauan, Iloilo.
Seized from the 45-year-old John Castro was a .357-caliber revolver with six bullets and a holster, a police report showed.
He was nabbed after failing to show the gun’s license, the report added.
The police raided his residence on the strength of a search warrant around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Castro was detained in the Tigbauan police station, facing charges./PN
