ILOILO City – A vagrant man was found dead early morning yesterday in front of a building on Rizal Street, Barangay Ma. Clara, City Proper.
But nobody knew much about the man whom people in the area called “Batik”.
He was believed to be around 60 years old.
Batik was wearing a pink t-shirt, a black jacket and a pair of jeans when found.
Police said there were no signs that Batik was murdered.
According to the people in the area, Batik had been sick.
The body was brought to Gegato Abecia Funeral Homes in Barangay Balabago, Jaro district./PN
