MANILA – Valencia City Bukidnon-SSCR Golden Harvest cruised to a 106-75 victory over University of Perpetual Help Altas in the 2019 PBA D-League on Thursday at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
RK Ilagan drained four three-point conversions as he fired 27 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and two steals for the Golden Harvest, which inched closer to a playoff berth after improving 5-1 win-loss slate in the Foundation Group.
Ilagan was responsible for the Golden Harvest’s 33-point third quarter eruption as he had 13 in that stretch to turn a slim 48-40 lead to a decisive 81-56 advantage at the end of the period.
“So far, nakita naman na masyado na matured si RK. Hindi na siya katulad dati na offense lang. Now he’s organizing the team,” said Golden Harvest head coach Egay Macaraya.
Allyn Bulanadi also made his contributions for the Golden Harvest with 18 points, seven rebounds, six assists, three steals, and two blocks, while JM Calma tallied a double-double with his 14 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.
Jielo Razon tallied 19 points, six rebounds, and two assists, but that wasn’t enough from saving the Altas, which suffered its third consecutive defeat to slid down to 1-5 win-loss card./PN
