BACOLOD City – A 33-year old man was shot to death by unidentified persons at a resort in San Enrique, Negros Occidental.
Ryan Villanueva of Barangay 1, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental sustained multiple gunshot wounds, a police report showed.
According to police investigation, Villanueva checked in at Wisik Resort in Barangay Tibsok on Feb. 13 in celebration of his birthday. He was with his live-in partner and friends.
Around 3 a.m. on Feb. 14, five unidentified persons allegedly barged into their room and forcibly brought Villanueva’s live-in partner outside.
Several gun shots followed. The assailants fled after the incident, police said.
Twenty-four spent shells of a .45-caliber gun, suspected marijuana and a unit of motorcycle were recovered from the crime scene.
The San Enrique police have yet to determine the identity of the suspects and the motive in the killing./PN
