BACOLOD City – A man burned himself in Barangay Patic, Valladolid, Negros Occidental.
The 43-year-old resident, who was not identified in the report, burned himself after a heated argument with his wife around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, a police report showed.
According to the police, the man poured gasoline into his body and lighted himself.
He sustained a 3rd degree burn and was brought to the Valladolid District hospital but was later transferred to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in this city for treatment.
Officers of the Valladolid municipal police station were investigating the incident./PN
