BACOLOD City – A man riddled with bullets was found dead in a van in Hacienda Manaol, Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental yesterday morning, June 29.
Brian Mark Agillo, 33, was a resident of Hernaez Street, Barangay 36, Bacolod City.
A security guard was conducting his rounds in the area past 5 a.m. when he noticed a white van parked by the roadside, said Police Lieutenant Abegael Donasco, spokesperson of the Talisay City police.
When the guard checked the vehicle, he saw Agillo slumped in the driver’s seat with a gunshot wound to the head.
Agillo was later positively identified by his partner.
Donasco said Agillo also sustained two gunshot wounds to the back.
Police recovered a spent bullet inside the vehicle.
The Talisay City police are still trying to determine the motive behind Agillo’s murder and are appealing for the public’s assistance./PN
