ILOILO City – Jessie Suganob was accused of vehicle theft.
Police arrested him in their village of Inangayan in Santa Barbara, Iloilo on Monday.
Suganob was served with a warrant of arrest for a carnapping charge at around 7:30 a.m., a police report showed.
The court set the bail bond for his temporary liberty at P180,000.
Suganob was detained at the Santa Barbara police station.
In Barangay Guzman-Jesena, Mandurriao district, a traffic enforcer was hurt in a motorcycle accident.
The 36-year-old Jesus Cruz of Leon, Iloilo sustained an injury on the right foot.
He was confined in the Western Visayas Medical Center after the incident on Saturday, a police report showed.
Cruz was driving at around 8 p.m. when his vehicle fell out of balance, stated the police report./PN
