BACOLOD City – A vendor was stabbed to death in Sitio Bungyod, Barangay Camang-Camang, Isabela, Negros Occidental.
He was Arnold Carpina, 35, of Barangay San Pedro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
Carpina died of multiple stab wounds to the body, police said.
According to Police Captain Ryan Villasario, officer-in-charge of the Isabela police station, it was around 7 p.m. on April 15 when the victim was found lying along the road beside his motorcycle.
Carpina was brought to the town’s Ignacio Lacson Arroyo Sr. Memorial District Hospital but the attending physician declared him dead-on-arrival.
As this was being written, police have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the killing./PN
