ILOILO – Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. appointed Atty. Dennis Ventilacion, head of the Iloilo Provincial Legal Office, as new acting provincial administrator.
“He is not new kay nahimu ‘ya na (acting administrator) in the previous administration,” said Defensor.
The appointment follows the automatic resignation of Atty. Suzette Mamon on Nov. 15. She filed her certificate of candidacy to run for mayor of Badiangan town.
Mamon started assuming as acting provincial administrator in the last year of the final term (third term) of former Gov. Arthur Defensor Sr.
Mamon also left her position as head of the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO).
Defensor appointed Ma. Concepcion Jesusa Garrido as replacement.
