ILOILO City – The chapter office of the Veterans Federation of the Philippines in Janiuay, Iloilo was ransacked.

The burglary was discovered yesterday around 6 a.m. by the 61-year-old Andres Tabano, past president of the federation’s Janiuay chapter.

The back door of the office was forcibly opened, initial police investigation showed.

An undetermined amount of money was taken away from the office.

No suspect had been identified as of this writing./PN
