VICE GANDA teased Karylle and Anne Curtis because he got to work with their ex-boyfriends.
In the Dec. 1 episode of It’s Showtime, Vice Ganda was commended for the casting coup of his 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival entry titled Fantastica.
Dingdong Dantes and Richard Gutierrez are working together for the first time in a Star Cinema movie.
“In fairness, ang taray ng mga leading men mo!” gushed Anne.
Vice Ganda was thrilled because he is the target of affection of the two actors.
“First time, nagsama si Dingdong at si Richard Gutierrez at ako lang pala ang pag-aagawan nila,” said Vice.
However, Dingdong and Richard already worked with each other for the 2005 Metro Manila Film Fest entry Mulawin: The Movie.
Vhong pointed out, “Iba ang level up mo, brod.”
Vice Ganda then quipped: “Nagpapasalamat ako sa mga ex nina Karylle at Anne Curtis na sinamahan ako sa pelikulang ito.”
This elicited laughter from their fellow Showtime co-hosts and viewers at the studio.
It will be recalled that Karylle used to be in a relationship with Dingdong while Anne had Richard as one of her ex-boyfriends.
Vice Ganda teased them by saying, “Biglang napa-iling si K [Karylle] at si Anne.”
Mariel told the Fantastica star that she was entertained when she watched the trailer of the Star Cinema film.
The comedian apologized to her by saying, “Ay, sorry Mariel hindi ko naisama ang ex mo.”
The wife of Robin Padilla replied, “Okay na yung dalawa, mama.”
Vice Ganda turned to Amy Perez and said he would add her ex.
Amy quickly pointed out: “Hindi mahanap. Huwag na.”
Ryan Bang was asked what role he played in the MMFF 2018 entry. “Ako, best friend ko si Kuya Dingdong.”
Vice Ganda warned the Korean actor, “Dinedma mo si Richard. Humanda ka kay Tita Annabelle [Rama, Richard’s mother].” (Pep.ph)
