BACOLOD City – Two drug suspects were arrested in buy-bust operation at St. Martin Subdivision in Barangay 21, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
They were resident Marlon Mendoza, 28, and Albert Tabaosares, 38, of E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental.
An undercover officer initially bought from Mendoza and Tabaosares a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,000.
Six more sachets of the prohibited substance were seized during their arrest around 5 p.m. on Jan. 7, police said.
The two were detained in the lockup cell of the Victorias City police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
