BACOLOD City – Inside a hospital room was where a man landed after being stabbed in Vandong Village, Barangay 7, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
He was the 20-year-old Joram Tandang, a resident of Barangay 7, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as the 37-year-old Leonard Desin, also a resident of the village.
Tandang and Desin were binge drinking at a friend’s house when the stabbing happened around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, the report stated.
There was a birthday celebration at the house at that time, police said.
A heated argument ensued between Tandang and Desin, which prompted the latter to draw a bladed weapon he used to stab the former on the neck.
Desin was arrested and detained at the Victorias City police station lockup facility./PN
