BACOLOD City – Four sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from a man in Barangay 13, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
The suspected illegal drugs weighing about a gram valued at around P2,000 were confiscated from the 36-year-old Gil Quijano around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, a police report showed.
Quijano, a drug surrenderee, was caught in a sting operation that officers from the Victorias City police station led by Chief Inspector Eduardo Corpuz staged along Osmeña Avenue near Malogo Bridge.
Quijano was arrested after he sold a sachet of the suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P200.
Aside from the suspected drugs, police also confiscated P150 cash and a Kawasaki Barako motorcycle from Quijano.
Quijano, detained at the Victorias City police station lockup facility, faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
