MANILA – Vice President Leni Robredo is currently under self-quarantine following her recent exposure to an individual who tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Robredo said, apart from her, some of her staff are also under isolation forcing the cancellation of her scheduled events this week.
“Dapat sana itong darating na linggo, sa Lucena kami, Tuesday dapat sa Caloocan kami. Pero na-expose ako sa isang nag-positive,” Robredo said in her “Biserbisyong Leni” radio program at DZXL 558 AM on Sunday.
“Hopefully ma-swab na kami. Kasi ‘pag na-clear na kami, tuloy na ulit. Sana okay naman,” Robredo added.
In July, the Office of the Vice President also temporarily suspended operations after some staff contracted COVID-19./PN
