‘WALK WITH THE STARS’: Festive Walk Iloilo to hold biggest celebration of Dinagyang Festival

Festive Walk Iloilo proudly launched the Dinagyang Warrior Dolls, marking the beginning of the vibrant Dinagyang Festival celebrations in the city. This year’s festivities in Megaworld's Iloilo Business Park will showcase exciting collaborations with key partners, highlighting Iloilo’s rich culture, delectable cuisine, and remarkable creativity through special expos, food fairs, celebrity shows, local performances, and community revelries. The unveiling ceremony featured distinguished guests, including (from left) Tiffany Berjes, Business Development Manager of Megaworld Hotels; Nathalie Lim, General Manager of Richmonde Hotel; Karmela Jesena, General Manager of Festive Walk Iloilo; Judgee Peña, Chairman of Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Inc.; Jogi Viceo, Township Director for Iloilo Business Park; and Rey Orio, Estate Manager of Iloilo Business Park.

ILOILO City – Stars will shine brightly in Festive Walk Iloilo as the most beautiful mall rolls out the biggest Dinagyang Festival celebration highlighted by the grand Kapuso Mall Show and Kapamilya Karavan as its main events.

Ilonggos are in for a treat as GMA offers fans a chance to see their favorite celebrities up close including “My Ilongga Girl” stars Jillian Ward, Yasser Marta and Michael Sager on January 25 with the grand Kapuso Mall Show.

Meanwhile, on January 26, ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Karavan will take over as the grand culmination of the festivities, featuring thrilling performances, fan interactions, and surprises exclusive to Festive Walk Iloilo and Iloilo Business Park, including a special appearance of Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, and “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11” big winner Fyang Smith. Other Kapamilya stars joining the pair are JM Ibarra, Kai Montinola, Patrick Ramirez, Dingdong Bahan, Rain Celmar, and Young JV.

Apart from the star-studded entertainment, visitors can immerse themselves in the energetic Dinagyang atmosphere with pop-up booths, live cultural performances such as the ILOMINATION and grand float parade on January 24 at the Megaworld Blvd.

Aside from that, a special LED light show dubbed the Ilo-minación: A Dinagyang Light Odyssey from January 22-26 at the Delgado Square right in front of the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Arts (ILOMOCA) and a grand fireworks display on January 24 at Megaworld Boulevard.

Guests can also visit a variety of fun activities aside from the celebration’s main highlights including the Neon Dew Party featuring JK Labajo from January 24-26; Dinagyang Food Banquet at Java Road from January 23-26; and the Battle of the Bands and DJ Night happening on January 24 also in Iloilo Business Park’s Java Road.

Additionally, the vibrant dining scene within the township offers a rich tapestry of local flavors, where visitors can savor the finest regional cuisine from Festive Walk Iloilo’s restaurants and food stalls, elevating the Dinagyang Festival experience with every bite.
