BACOLOD City – Charged with rape, a laborer was arrested in Barangay Busay, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Patrick Alvarez Sr., a resident of the village, was 52 years old.
Armed with a warrant of arrest, police apprehended the suspect around 8:20 a.m. on May 17.
Judge Mary Jennifer Protacio-Arches of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 62 in Bago City issued the arrest warrant on April 22, 2021.
The suspect was brought to the Bago City police station.
The court set a P120, 000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
